the most awaited Spring Season

Here i am again... blogging .... i wish i am doing this diligently (LOL !) ..... i think i will do this fast, time is really gold these days. There are always things to be done...i keep thinking that I should have done this long time ago, and i must do my blogging, once a month at least,... cmon !!!!! but my head is spinning with activities, invitations, here & there and everywhere.... when do i get the time blogging when i am in my garden after work ? ? ? the precious moments i am with my hobby are worth every minute, working in the garden normally i am finish 9:30pm to 10:00pm then, have to take a shower, eat my midnight snack, browse a little bit on Facebook , read my book(s) about perennials, summer flowers, garden design etc... well....well... not bad, i supposed for an introduction.. so shall we start with a picture when the snow still loves to enveloped my garden ...

but then, when we await, it signals that each day is worth living because there is something.... that, we will see and experience .... but while waiting, we can still enjoy life with friends in my garden, here was one example : (take note the lawn was not green yet ;-)

now ... let us see... those who were awaked in my garden during spring time:

bulbs are so beautiful.. they remind me of a new hope each day...

now here are some additionals on my garden, planted just last year (autumn 2010 ), they were also awaked, charmed the season with their blooming smiles :

Rhododendron

Paeonia Officinalis

Clematis

Rosa Rugosa

< Rhubarb

finally, a spring is not a spring without a Papaver bowing down to a lovely spring season .........

eatable on my garden

I did took pictures, but not all ... but in my mind i still have pictures of my cucumber, tomatoes and different squash.... but now these are all i have, better than not having at all...

squash - yes tropical squash maybe, i still have to find out Latin Name for this to be exact, we called this "UPO" in Philippines. Typical filipino dish when stewed cooking with shrimps or minced pork.

newly-planted leek, well, i wasnt able to take pictures of them afterwards because the mint took full control of the ground. They also need space, apparently mint won. Therefore, i decided to kill mint next spring, i dont want them spreading so fast that i can hardly control them.
applemint
spring onions - we all need these
garlic- towering the evening primrose
parsley - thanks to you
super edible - cakes on summer days are not complete without borage as my number 1 decorator !

i love sun-riped tomatoes, but i fell in love with the color of this one !
squash - i still dont understand why they are making a twirl before spreading into a beautiful flower, but i like it... its kinda unique !
so sweet and juicy... my chemical-free delight !
i covered my strawberries with net... looks secured... they were actually.. the birds just looked i guess !

do i have to think twice when i see strawberries ?

a closer look with them

taking a look unto some of my precious collections... they made me feel like it is still summer ...(impossible to believe though, especially when you see the snow outside and feel the aching rheumatism due to coldness). I should have a different blog describing each of them with their respective characteristics but ... there's a big BUT... i keep on saying and asking who has the time ? but i guess, its not bad looking some of them here.
